  13. I can't speak for NewTek's futur decisions, but something to keep in mind 
  14. right now is that the 3.5SA version has upgrade paths to all other 
  15. platforms.  What they'll probably do is allow you to upgrrade 4.0 to 5.x, 
  16. 6.x (whatever) to any platform at the same upgrade price.

  18. But, the investment in a good Lightwave system also includes other 
  19. utilities such as DPaint, ADPro, PixelPro, Interchange, ..., ... and the 
  20. list goes on.  If you're planning on sinking serious money into this, 
  21. you'd definitly benefit by examining the policies of third-party 
  22. developers that deal with LW.
